🎙 Q&A with an expert
A bi-weekly interview series with the best in the game
A conversation with Caitlyn Ceneviva, Growth Marketing Manager
Q: With the ever-evolving algorithms, how do you navigate changes in search engine and answer engine platforms to optimize campaigns effectively?
A: It's all about finding that sweet spot. You don't want to be the guinea pig for every new algo change or PPC feature right out of the gate, but you also don’t want to be the last one to adapt and miss out on possible strong results. Testing is key. Ease into a new feature, start slow, and ramp it up as success rolls in. Remember, Google's products and features are constantly evolving. Instant magic might not happen. Give it some time.
Q: How have the roles of automation and AI evolved in PPC, and what benefits or challenges have you encountered while leveraging these technologies?
A: The blessing and the curse of AI in PPC is the fact that we are seeing less and less control over our platforms than ever before. While some people see the lack of control as a scary thing, when done correctly, it can lead to really great results. Results that don’t require as much time and effort from us. This then gives us more time to really focus on overarching strategy and testing out new ideas that we might not have had the time for before, which tends to lead to stronger results for our clients.
