Poppi flew Alix Earle to Coachella to promote their new lemon-lime flavor
Here’s why "Coach-earle-a" was the best activation we’ve seen so far
The Coachella brand activations this year were unremarkable — except for Poppi’s.
Here’s what we loved about Poppi’s activation for their new lemon-lime flavor:
Instead of inviting multiple influencers with no connection to each other, Poppi specifically invited Earle and her friends
More isn't always better. Poppi invested in just one influencer that they knew would make a significant impact
Poppi focused on promoting one new product, which made the activation more intentional than typical brand awareness ploys
Which brand do you think had the best activation this year?
Google’s SGE is changing e-commerce for consumers and businesses
Here’s how SGE will impact the future of online shopping
Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) is changing the way e-commerce sites think about organic search.
Many are thinking of potential ways SGE will impact their business.
Some potential benefits for e-commerce sites include improved user experience and click-through rates, which could increase conversions and brand awareness.
However, SGE could lead to a reduction in organic traffic, which could decrease sales.
It’s too soon to tell how SGE will play out, but website owners can prepare by optimizing their sites and reforming their SEO strategies.

🎙️Q&A with an expert
A bi-weekly interview series with the best in the game
Q: Do you think Google will acquire Hubspot?
A: Yes - I think Google will strongly entertain the idea because Hubspot will simply give Google data they don’t have access to. Hubspot has become one of the leaders in the B2B SaaS space throughout the last decade and focused on acquisitions that will help improve its product and its positioning to be the B2B leader. An acquisition would mean that Google would have easier access to business intelligence data, as well as martech and CRM data across companies.
Q: How do you think acquiring Hubspot will help Google expand?
A: Google already has a lot of data from applications like GA4, Search Console, and single sign-on. But with the shift in the marketing space and the push away from cookies and tracking. Acquiring Hubspot will help Google improve its ad targeting side of the business, especially in trickier segments like B2B and SMB. In addition, Google can use it to train Gemini to produce better answer engines and search results.
